This welcoming and friendly house is located in Soubès, a very charming old village in the south of France, in a quiet tranquil and panoramic setting, 25 mn driving only from Lerab Ling the Buddhist Temple, 5 mn from the very ancient town of Lodève, the gateway to the Mediterranean.

Lodève (and its surroundings) is very much loved for the diversity of its countryside, its historical and cultural heritage, its character, its cathedral, museum and medieval sites. About 50 km from Montpellier, Béziers, and the famous viaduct of Millau, 15 km from the wonderful Lake Salagou (fishing, swimming sailing) and 50 km from the sea and beaches.

Locally there is the Tour du Larzac Méridional (105 km of footpaths for rambling walking), also 240 km for VTT, and exceptional natural sites like the breathtaking ' Cirque de Navacelles', wonderful caves, famous abbeys like 'St Guilhem le Désert', many professional craftsmen and artists, and a national manufacture of rug.
